Character for new comic.
Still working on the story.
But it is closer to the Pinochio setting.
Character was created out of need, a house made with no ego or rights. Created to serve its master at best of cost.
But the plot I am knitting tells a different story.

As much as rani sounds convenient to the master , as much as i feel our future is going to be quite lame since our daily interaction will be with machines rather than people :s Currently when i go out with friends for a meal or such we tend to be engaged with our blackberries rather than actually making conversations with each other, and were just in 2010! Could you imagine years later with further tech what would happen? i guess our blackberries will go out for a meal instead of us. I just have to comments on rani that you may want to take into consideration:
ReplyDelete1- rani is a guy's name, yet he looks like a girl. So?
2- The brush and the shovel don't talk technology. I think you might want to conside editing them to look more robotic as well or maybe make them as part of the robots body as if you press a button and his hand turns into a 2 in 1 brush shovel kind of thing.

ReplyDeleteTechnology is a reflection of us, the creaters of techology. If we create a robot to be clean the house then that is what it'll do. It'll speak the language we program it to talk. And if by 2030 robots get smarter in an AI way or so, it'll be a reflection of us - again.
That is, as I intend, is the core idea behind my story. To make the robot reflect our hypocrisy.
Coming to the name, suggest me a good lady name for a house maid please :)
And last but not least, the tools she is using are regular house hold tools. As intended, she is there to replace its human counterpart.
